Chopard is a Swiss manufacturer of watches and jewellery. The production was started back in 1860 in Sonvilier by Louis-Ulysse Chopard who was known for making precise pocket watches. In 1963, Chopard became the property of Karl Scheufele and his family. At present, Chopard continues to follow his principles, taste for excellence, quality, creativity, innovation, independence and respect for the people.

The company has been receiving more and more prizes for its remarkable works from the day of its establishment until present – more than 150 years now.

Chopard defines “Ethical Gold” as gold acquired from responsible sources, verified as having met international best practice environmental and social standards, extracted in accordance with the fair labour standards.

Chopard will proudly reprise its role as main sponsor and official timekeeper of Italy’s world famous Mille Miglia classic car rally, a position it has held continuously since 1988. The brand-new models for 2020 comprise the Mille Miglia GTS Azzurro Power Control, an automatic time and date watch, limited to 500 pieces in stainless steel and 18-carat rose gold, with a power reserve indicator based on an automotive fuel gauge, and the Mille Miglia GTS Azzurro Chrono in stainless steel (750-piece limited edition) featuring a sub-dial layout inspired by a classic car instrument cluster. Both models are highlighted by elegant ‘Azzurro’ dials of a steely blue hue which contrasts beautifully with the ‘Mille Miglia red’ used for detailing the hands.

Happy Hearts Collection

No Time To Die is the 25th movie for the World’s gratest spy – James Bond. It is going to be globally launched this fall. Co-President and Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele shares her vision of the James Bond Woman: a determined and courageous woman. She decided to reinterpret the Happy Hearts collection by filling the hearts with ethical rose gold. Gold is a leightmotif often referenced in the James Bond films. This creation is part of limited- edition collection of 7007 pieces. It consists of rose gold pendant, necklace, earrings, bangle with the iconic moving diamond. Chopard’s beautiful jewellery is worn by Ana de Armas, who plays CIA agent Paloma.

Chopard’s creative genius pays tribute to Nature

This year, Caroline Scheufele, Co-President & Artistic Director of Chopard and initiator of its Journey to Sustainable Luxury, has decided to celebrate the environment, along with its flora and fauna, by choosing ‘Nature’ as the main theme of the collection. The first creations provide a foretaste of the 73 models that will compose this precious jewellery casket inspired by natural enchantment and the most precious gemstones created by Mother Nature herself. Since the 60th anniversary of the Cannes International Film Festival, Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie workshops have annually achieved the feat of composing a collection that includes as many creations as the year of the Festival’s existence: the Red Carpet Collection.
