Supercharged with classic Ulysse Nardin savoir-faire, BLAST is an avatar of its time, a potent force of nature. BLAST wears its “X” prominently and with pride.The “X” has become an underlying theme progressing transversally throughout all Ulysse Nardin collections and has affirmed its presence in all four BLAST models. Its shape-within-shape-within-shape geometry is a visual delight. This atomic bomb of a watch is powered by the recently fashioned UN-172 movement and has a three-day power reserve. With an automatic tourbillon for the first time within the Ulysse Nardin SKELETON collection and a new tiny yet powerful platinum micro-rotor – visible only from the front of the watch at 12 o’clock – BLAST was 18 months in the making, from conception to creation.
Diver
In the spirit of explorers and fearless adventurers, Ulysse Nardin has partnered with the Vendée Globe to sponsor the world’s most challenging sailing race, creating the DIVER X CAPE HORN and the DIVER X NEMO POINT. With its saffron burnt orange stitching on the strap to recall the Spice Route, carbon bezel and instantly recognizable “X” on the face, the Ulysse Nardin Diver X CAPE HORN will be issued in a limited edition of 300 pieces only. The DIVER X NEMO POINT, with its blue fabric strap with red lining, reminiscent of the leash on a surfboard, and “X” on the face, will be issued in a limited edition of 300 pieces too. In an ode to the essence of exploration, Ulysse Nardin has designed the DIVER X ANTARCTICA. A matte white rubber strap recalls the clean and austere lines of the Earth’s Southernmost Continent with ice blue touches on the dial reflecting the icebergs floating in the sea there.
